For over 30 years, the event has been evolving, mutating, and growing to become one of the nation's top Independence Day displays. The city's July 4th usually combines the sounds of the famed Boston Pops with a historical atmosphere and several tons of explosives. But this year, please note that the two parts of the event will be in different locations. The concert will be held in Tanglewood while the fireworks will be at the Boston Common.
